I believe this was already known and I read it in other threads, but didn't see one dedicated to it and they are announcing it today so I thought I would post it.

The Blackhawks will announce Monday that they have hired Mike Kitchen as assistant coach to replace the departed John Torchetti on head coach Joel Quenneville's staff.

Kitchen is a former head coach of the St. Louis Blues after taking over for Quenneville in 2004 and had been an assistant for the Florida Panthers the last three seasons.

The Hawks have also re-signed assistant coach Mike Haviland to remain with the team.

Torchetti left the organization last week to become associate coach of the Atlanta Thrashers.

Looks like the Tallon for Kitchen deal is finally done, I think they won this battle.

Anyone know how long they re-signed Haviland for?
