It's funny because, the organization was planning on going with the same format for next season -- with this endless stream of new play-by-play guys -- until they heard the fans' feedback. Really? I mean, they couldn't see for themselves how much of a disaster this year has been with all these new guys?
It's just an extra kick in the nuts that they're reducing Weideman's time on radio to boot. What the **** is that about? It's almost like they know people would just mute their TV's and listen to the radio if they kept Wiedeman on.

Let's see: a guy with decades of NHL experience who paid his dues on the radio, or a guy who has more experience calling softball. Another great decision by the org.

Call me old fashioned, but I’m that guy who chills out with head phones on and listens to Weideman instead of watching and having to listen to the slop they have going on tv.
I don’t get this fascination with Chelios. She’s cringe brutal and doesn’t offer anything to the conversation. Weideman with Troy are the only bright spots thru media for this sinking ship.

The guy named cobey(?) seems like a guy who made excuses for every one of his **** ups which were more than merely numerous when he was on the NHL.
He didn't last long in the NHL and talks like he knows everything.
Of course, limping along with their 3rd blow(4th?) in a row against the LAST PLACE TEAM just makes me wanna buy a ticket in the over priced 300 row.
