Based on points and ice time Jack Skille might be had at a very cap friendly deal this off season, not Bickell low but really reasonable. Plus he is my favorite player on the Hawks so I want him kept on this team. Maybe 3 year @ 700k per season for Skille? Unless of course Q gives my boy the ice time he deserves and then his points will go up and his contract value will raise.

I'm more interested in what's available potentially, and what we want to do with some lines based upon that.

Crawford, sure keep, depending on what is out there - maybe trade Seabrook- probably not - as defensively there isn't many on the team that bring what he has -- but at the same time I doubt you can afford to shell out as much as he might want -considering the team got forced into signing Hjallmarsson at 3.5 million and Seabrook is clearly more valuable. Some moves have to be made in order to keep Seabrook and upgrade other areas of the team as well.

Anyone else on that list - well it depends ... if it were me I would be looking to put together a veteran defensive forward line, and be looking to get a rebound vacuum type defenseman. The team has enough puck movers and some band-aids after that.

And of course there might need to be a backup goaltender. I don't actually know that Turco wouldn't work in that role at the price, but I am also not sure he wants to be a backup... so it is more about contract amount.

Can Bickell play center? If so... Bickell, Skille and Beach maybe as a third line - I don't know how many spots there should be for prospects to find a slot... 1 or 2 at forward, but it only works with other movement. I don't think dumping them all on a single line is the answer.
