Eh. They were a top ranked powerplay team last year and really haven't lost much at all from that powerplay. I am not too concerned. We are only 4 games in.

Yeah, but it's really looked like shit this year and the main guys are the same.

Keith cant carry the mail at all (which is news to me) and the guys are having trouble just getting set up. There's also a huge lack of shots in their PP.

It's obviously all fixable, but there's really no excuse for it being as awful as it has been.

What they lost is the lack of teams adjusting all season last year to them banking massively on the form of one play.

It will pick up once Toews snaps out of his annual early season slump....

Imagine a Toews at the top of his game and then the powerplay genius Brunette!

Very nice!

The back door shit to Sharp on the PP isn't working anymore. Stop trying it.

The only team that actually nullified it was dallas...that play has been open for the most part after those 2 games

They don't have to kill the play completely... just don't have it be the only play (like it was in Dallas).

Get more pucks on net. Q agrees. I'm sure they'll get it together.

The looked to have tried and mixed it up already which was good.. There was that one instance they looked to start it but went back to Kane on the side who tried to cross ice set up Sharp

The biggest reason is we are missing Campbell who was a PP point producer. I'm not to worried things will come around and everyone will get healthy or get out of there slumps.

The problem with the power play isn't the players. It's the players' performance. Sharp and Toews have both been off to a slow start this year. Keith also hasn't been good. Once they get it together, the power play should go back to being good.

They've looked really sloppy IMO. Haven't been able to set it up or handle the puck well when they've been on the attack.

We need a true PP QB tho. I'd like to see Lepisto get a chance

I am just glad their penalty killing unit is looking A LOT better than last season. The offense has been phenomenally this season, so I am not too concerned with the powerplay, along as the penalty killing unit continues playing like they are.

The Bruins won the cup with an even worse PP and it's only October. I'm not really worried.

Who runs the PP? Mike Kitchen? If so, time for Q's pal to be canned.

Same old shit with 5 on 3's.

Same old shit with 5 on 3's. Keep going for the cute plays instead of shooting.

pretty sure Haviland is running the PP. At least i think what pat said last night during the game.
