Curious move here.

It was on April 3rd that the Hawks announced he would be out for 8 weeks with an injury.

It's been 7 weeks since that day.

There's been no indication he's going to play (yet) so I'm not convinced this isn't just adding another Black Ace to the fold.

He's probably healthy enough for "practice" now and there's no reason to not have him practicing with the other black aces who are practicing... practice.

The only real question is it still brings up why Mark McNeil wasn't called up, it wasn't proclaimed he was hurt like sadly Johns was. I guess just because he didn't have any moments of being called up in the regular season he isn't getting it now. It's just more strange with another addition being added.

Probably because the team already has 6 forwards on the black aces and all of them have played in the NHL in some aspect. Defense wise we have only Paliotta and Runblad with NHL experience and TVR would add to that (and if healthy be an upgrade over Timonen and Runblad).

Is TVR going to be ready to go if the Hawks don't sweep?

I almost have a feeling this will be Qs surprise game 1 move..he will play TVR over Runblad and Timonnen tonight

Rick Sutcliffe former pitcher and Cy Young award winner for the Chicago Cubs was often called the Red Baron because of his red hair and beard. Never heard of TVR being called that.

I don't think he will get much icetime unless Runblad shits the bed, but I don't have any problems ion the surface is VanReimsLesbian sees the ice.
