I liked Gilbert a lot during training camp, Froese is an interesting prospect at his level but never impressed me very much at the training camps with the pros.

From the sounds of it, I may fit in seemlessly...
I'm more of a reader than a poster-type. I'm looking forward to seeing how the chess pieces of the organization will be played. I don't think the Titanic is the Blackhawk's cruise ship of choice anymore. Show me any organization that doesn't err here and there. Hawks brass see enough in Froese to give him a two-year window. Word is, he plays an intelligent and good two-way game. That's encouraging,right there.

If I remember correctly, the launch of this site was publicized via one or two posters formerly of blackhawkzone, back when it still was Frank29's place? Something like that. (I think Ploppsdman or Stuy.) I know some folk, (RK?)et. al., got sick of the Jim C ego trippin' and crudeness and disrespecting, (how many wouldn't?), and the bullshit feudin' goin' on. I remember all that FREE THE HAWKS business and Supportive Hawkfans in Turmoil (S.H.I.T.)for short, lol. I don't think I heard about this site on the official boards, though it may have been mentioned somewhere along the line there. I waited a while for this board to get established, you might say, before registering.
I'm a newbie only in terms of officially registering on this site. Hawks fan since '69 or earlier. Lloyd Petit and Bob Elsen(sp?) days... R.I.P.,Lloyd,and Pit, and Get Well Soon, Stosh!
