CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks have signed minor league forward Rob Klinkhammer and goalie Alec Richards to contracts, the team announced Monday.
Klinkhammer, 24, signed a one-year deal after playing 76 games in Rockford of the AHL last season. He played one game for the Hawks, making his NHL debut in December against the Dallas Stars. Klinkhammer had 17 goals and 46 points for the IceHogs last year.
Richards, 23, signed a two year deal after appearing in 44 games for Rockford last season. He was 17-21-2 with a 2.89 goals against average.
Couple Guys For Rockford...Richards will be their starting goalie I would guess
