Very surprised that he gets the nod after Sunday (going back to back). Thought he played well but certainly left the door open for Crawford. Q seems like he wants one goalie going into the playoffs (I think everyone does) and he is certainly giving Emery the chance to run away with it. A good game tonight might just do that.

yeah, its a bit of a toss up....its like pick the better of the 2 turds. I trust neither of them going forward no matter what their numbers are this season. both playing over their heads. I really hope that goaltending isnt the reason we dont win the cup.

Eh I see it as, if Emery stands out with a great game again, he is in the driver seat. You just have to are if he has it in him on combo games. You can't jump to trust him without trying it.

Up until a couple of weeks ago or so, I thought both goalies were dead even. But lately Crawford has fallen back by giving up a long string of big, fat, juicy rebounds and they seemed to always come at real bad times.

Yeah looks like sharp is hurt again after that hit in the 3rd didn't see him on the bench at end of the game. Could be wrong though.

Wondering if some of the reason Crawford hasn't been playing is due to some sort of injury from his arm getting bent backwards in his last start.

They showed him still sitting on the bench the last two minutes wincing. He didn't go back in nor straight to the lockerroom, if that means anything.
I think it was Suter battling him on the and he shoved Sharp down shoulders/head first into the boardz.
