Bleacher Report

I don't believe the dealing of Campbell and or Brouwer effects much change to this. Especially if Stan uses his 14.4 mil in Cap Space correctly, including re upping Sharp past this next year.

I'd agree.

Good old Bleacher Report whipping out Stanley Cup predictions before July 1st even hits...... thats just me being a naysayer.

Like the prediction though, really thought we should have gone deep this playoffs, and in many ways we did. But this rest will go a long way, i.e. no cameras following the players, no big media cup sensations, awards, all the hoopla that goes with winning, a nice easy golf filled summer will do our team a lot of good come time next May.

I dunno Kaner is on vacation this week. Lets see when the first picture comes out. JT was on Vacation a couple of weeks ago.. Obviously they don't fly to Cabo with cameras..

And while I believe it's early I and several others were talking about this a few weeks ago. With the Talent already under contract, knowing they were beat to shit and then came back from 0-3. 1-2 moves from here and the Hawks are clearly in the top 5.

That was the whole point of my post, a relaxing bullshit free summer.

I'm going to Barbados at the end of July. Any Blackhawks player is welcome to join me.

Winning the cup isn't worth the hassle.

While I like the prediction, I have to go with PSR on the fact that its not July 1st yet. While the core of what we have right now is great and superb to others, we still need to wait until October and see final rosters before we say who's #1.

I agree with what was written.. and watching how the Canucks choked away the Cup... cant help but think what woulda happened had Sharpy lit the lamp on that PP in OT....

It truly is amazing how a slight angle change from one shot can be the difference between losing in round one, and possibly going back to the Cup Finals.
