The media is really making a big deal out of nothing.

Thibs benched Booz for the 4th because he wasn't playing up to his own par. Enough said. Boozer isn't the type that would be a headcase. He understood after they spoke together about it.

this isn't the first time boozer was benched in the 4rth. i dont get why everyone cares. teams pull starters when the bench is performing better. it's not a big deal.

Kinda late, but that's obviously good to know. I would of been pissed if I was in Boozers shoes.

i'm not sure if it counts, however, i was pissed off at boozer, and i was in my shoes. carlos boozer is the big man equivalent of kyle korver. when he's not giving you good offense, and he's not matched up a slow big guy, he kinda sucks.

Unfair on Korver, he gives much more consistent effort (and thus is more effective) on the defensive end.

I'm pretty sure Korver's not even a bad defender, at least he's way better defensively than Bogans.

Korver at least stands in the right position which is more than Bogans was doing on Ray Allen.

If we're not going to use Korver much than why not trade him?

i was actually thinking about that. if it's between korver and brewer, i'd rather keep brewer. thibs doesn't like using korver. Now that noah's gone, thibs really doesn't like using korver, part of that is, thibs has a man crush on deng.

More like Thibs doesn't use Korver correctly and thus Korver is not as effective and thus he is not used as much as he should be. It's been made pretty clear that Korver can't do the Ray Allen/Rip Hamilton run off 3 screens and catch and shoot role. He needs to catch the ball and have his feet set, then he's deadly.

If Bogans was used right (DNP), Korver would have his minutes

Deng's extended minutes are largely as a result of him playing over 7 minutes a game at PF, those are the minutes he needs cut, he's not standing in the way of Korver or Brewer at SF.

I think ideally you keep Brewer in his current role and find a single player to play the roles Bogans and Korver are playing right now. Getting that guy might not be easy though.

im wondering the same thing because hes a fucking staple in my offense on 2k11 i think he should have a couple play made to get him wide open & he should be getting a few more minutes also

this.

The media is really trying to make it a big deal. sure, Carlos boozer was mad. But I know he understand that coach thibs wasn't happy with his defense. This last game against the Celtics coach thibs had boozer out there for the whole fourth quarter. So I wouldn't worry if our him, I bet if he keeps playing at least solid defense throughout a game coach thibs will keep him out there.
