As the playoffs began, I wrote that it looked like Bulls forward Carlos Boozer might be knocking on the (fans') "doghouse" door. After 7 playoff games, it's clear that he's firmly established his residence there, though we hope not permanently. ...

He's not established in the dog house. We, as fans, know that we need to support boozer, but we also will put pressure on him by our sporting nature. Tough it up, and make a difference out there. That's all we ask. Stats, who cares. W's matter.

I agree that stats don't matter but Boozer isn't doing anything out there. I mean people don't get on Noah for his offensive output because we know he will go out there and rebound and play defense but Boozer doesn't do anything on either side of the court

Boozer needs to feel the pressure. He's getting paid a ton of money. There are expectations. This is what he signed up for when he took the money and left Utah.

If you play well and deliver, the fans cheer you. If you play like garbage, they dont. Thats how it works. The best way for Boozer to deal with it is to play well. Its fairly simple.

Boozer is obviously in pain...the turf toe is affecting him. He is a better player than he is showing...

Lex is right, boozer was playing real bad even before the camel toe issue. He had no lift, awful hands, little effort on the defensive end. Maybe his sprained ankle was still bothering him? All I know is that there are guys younger and older than him in the playoffs who have played better with more recent ankle sprains.

So all of a sudden this dude can run and dunk...out of nowhere? I don't think so...there is something physically ailing him. He has no lift...it doesn't leave you overnight at 29 years old. I just don't believe that is the case.

When did he sustain the turf toe injury?

It was the game in the Pacers series where he only scored two points. Just checked. It was game 5.

You might want to get your chronology right before you make excuses for him.

What chronology? I remember stating that the Bulls as a team wasn't playing well and you were blaming the commissioner and the referees...gtfoh with that nonsense.

Chronology is a time line.

Boozer sprained his left ankle and the turf toe is on his right foot. if the sprain is still bothering him, it's no wonder he can't jump. They need to rest him for the rest of this series so he can contribute when we play Miami (or Boston LOL).

Chronology is a time line.

I didn't ask you for the definition...I never brought up a time line...that is why i asked "what chronology?". I said something is ailing him and they are saying its the turf toe. I don't know when he got it, nor did I state that I did...

And i had previously told you he was playing poorly before the turf toe (invoking the concept of a time line). I had already told you when he had turf toe. So, you then asking "what chronology" becomes an exercise in WTF.

I'm not as hard on Boozer as most people. Does anyone remember that vicious fall against the Bobcats? A fall on the leg like that can end careers, and if you think he was 100% after returning from that fall, think again. It's not only the physical aspect of that fall that is a concern, but the mental part.

Now he has turf toe, which is no joke of an injury, especially for someone as big and heavy as Carlos.

I know these are excuses, but when it comes to injuries in sports, there is no better excuse for struggling in my opinion. Boozer is giving us what he can. The guy doesn't want to suck out there, especially with a team that has the ability to make it to the finals. It's clear to anyone who has watched Boozer throughout his career that he's just not right physically right now and hasn't been since that fall.

Reading is fundamental...I said something is ailing him, then I asked about when the njury took place...you spend so much time acting like a damn idiot you can't control yourself.....give it a rest...

Couldn't have said it any better. He's sustained a broken wrist, ankle sprain, ankle & knee sprain, & now turf toe. I'm just praying that he's gotten all his injuries out of his system this year so that he's basically healthy for the rest of his time here. We all saw how good he is when healthy, up until after that leg injury.

RIF is something you need more than anyone. Once I told you it was game 5, there was nothing to ask unless you were asking what a chronology is. If you werent asking for its definition, that means you already had your answer in the very post you were responding to.

You must have gone to one of Illinois' public schools. You're good at reciting slogans but bad at practical application.

I know the guy will turn it around. Honestly the only issue is foul trouble in the first quarters for him. That fucks up his groove for the rest of the night..
