Boozer-LeBron connection?

Does the Bulls getting Boozer help or hurt?

They are former teammmates and LeBron should know what to expect from him.

But remember how Boozer stiffed Cleveland on a contract and bolted to the Jazz. I can't remember the specifics, Cleveland had some sort of deal with him and Boozer really screwed them. Maybe someone can look that up. But it set Cleveland back a bit.

Do you think LeBron holds any ill will about that possibly?

Oh that whole little circumvent the cba thing. Boozer was under a small deal 2nd round deal and the cavs owner agreed not to pick up his option if he would resign for the full mle. As soon as he became a unrestricted fa the jazz offered him big bucks. I don't think Bron holds a grudge. If anyone would, it would be Jim Paxson, the guy who got canned for it. If anything, this helps by giving us a real starting pf. But in the end, its too little too late.

I think it'd be funny if Boozer screwed over the Cavs a second time by getting LeBron here. But honestly I think LeBron's mind is already made up.

That would be pretty funny. If I remember correctly, after it happened, Lebron was asked if he had any ill will toward Boozer for leaving & he said No. I wouldn't fault a player for going out & getting the best deal possible for himself & I doubt any other NBA player would either. Jim Paxson would be the one with a grudge & apparently thats all smoothed over cuz he works for the Bulls now.
