Boozer was a BIG reason the Bulls fell short!

What should the Bulls do to Boozer?

This has been going on since last season Carlos has been on the bench at crunch time and I don't blame Thibs when Carlos can't score you got to bring in Taj in the game. I know Boozer played like shit today like he usually does but didnt know how many points he scored until I saw the game stats and it said 3 points I was like WTF! that is fucking UNNACEPTABLE for a player who is getting fucking paid $80M even Asik scored more than Boozer yet people rather blame Omer who is getting paid $78M less than Boozer. This has to be one of the worst NBA contracts since the Wizards gave Gilbert Arenas $100M+ a few years ago. What do you guys think? Should the Bulls amnesty Boozer in the summer? I know it's not a good idea since Rose and Deng will miss most of the first half of the season but they have to do something! Boozer will probably trip over his pair of shoes in August might as well try to trade him or amnesty him before he gets himself injured.

Amnesty. If you trade him you take back bad money so it kinda defeats the purpose.

Just get him out, any way possible. He was nothing but a disappointment that last 2 seasons.

Boozer is huge for us. I love him. BUT he is extremely inconsistent.

the guy almost never showed up in the post season for the Jazz, not sure why people thought things would change with the Bulls

the Boozer signing did not work, time to trade him or use the Amnesty on him, Bulls still don't have a post up player, Boozer is soft and he is a Jump Shooter, but I also don't think Taj is a starter either

So the Bulls still need a PF IMO...Al Jefferson would be nice with this team and move Noah to PF

He isn't going anywhere. Using the AC on him will still leave us over the cap. We'd more than likely have to take trash contracts back if we tried to trade him, unless we dealt him to a team with space (which is essentially Portland, Indiana, or Minnesota, none of which need a PF), and if we keep him, he'll continue to start over Gibson, who certainly deserves more minutes and an opportunity to start.

So uh, yeah. We're stuck with his corpse until his deal is in the final year, unless something insane happens or every team decides to hire David Kahn as their GM.

Boozer's playoff numbers with the Jazz are actually really good. He pretty much averaged 20 and 12 in 4 years. 06-07 he averaged 23 and 12 and 09-10 he averaged 20 and 13. Part of that was playing with Deron Williams, sure, but he wasn't nearly as bad as he's been with us (around 13 and 10). Boozer is a great pick and roll player...he ran that in Utah all the time and that's why he scored so much. We don't use the pick and roll nearly as much or as effectively, thus Boozer's role has been relegated to that of a jump shooter. He can make those shots, but he's far from automatic.

maybe against certain teams, all I know is that when it was time to play the Lakers in the post season, he would disappear EVERY TIME! Hell even going back to Duke, yeah Boozer would dominate, Virginia, Maryland, Wake Forest...but against UNC he would dissappear and that is why he was criticized a lot at Duke and that is why he fell in the NBA Draft...he always been SOFT and INCONSISTENT...that will NEVER CHANGE!

Yep it is true that he always disappeared when the Jazz played the Lakers in the playoffs.
