Yeah. I'd take a 20/10 game from Booz over a win against the Heat any day.

UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE!

This tread has no point after a victory against the Heat without Rose and Rip.

With Rose and Rip out it was expected for them to have their defense on Boozer tighter today. That's why he didn't take so many shoots and passed the ball.Great game by Boozer. If he can give so much space for everybody else he is helpful even when he doesn't shoot the ball.8 boards,5 assists and 1 block. He wasn't so lazy today in D.

I just had a chilling thought. There will be a day where we will see Bulls fans pleading to other Bulls fans that they want the FO to trade for Johnny Lucas III, once some dumb team decides to overpay him.

This was NOT a great game by Boozer...he ain't Scottie Pippen. He can't score 2 points and have a great game in most instances. He doesn't play well enough on the other end for that.

Finding a consistent second scorer is a big deal.

I'm not a Boozer fan, I never wanted him here. But damn, this shit is a broken record. If we lose because of Booz, then the complaints are justified. But right now, it's just preaching to the choir about something that wont change anytime soon.

When you have 11 guys who can score no it's not a big deal.Today 8 bulls players were near or above 10 points. And Boozer who is a guy who can score big numbers had 2 points.Rose was out too.Rip was out too.

I am sure Boozer will have a better scoring game with Rose and Rip in the court.Poor guy JLIII couldn't play with Boozer the pick and roll well today.Same shit with Watson. It was too easy for the Heat to defend that. And everybody was focusing on Boozer because he was the "only threat".

Boozer did the right choice not to take many shots and passing the ball.He dominated the boards in the first two quarters too.He didn't play much time in the second half because we needed harder defense.Scoring wasn't a problem.Gasol might have had a bad scoring game too if he was the only guy to guard for the opponents.

You see you can't score?Pass the ball.Thats a golden rule.I would booing at Boozer if he was taking 15 shots today and missed most of them.He just did the right thing. He did great selection in his shots. His shots were only when the clock was running down and when he was open.

Sometimes the right thing to do is simply not making the wrong thing.

how legit is this rumor? is it just blogger fodder or is it real

It died. The Bulls and Lakers wanted different complimentary parts to make the deal work, and neither team was willing to budge. It was legit for about 24 hours though. Gar Foreman made a statement today, saying the usual, 'he'll listen to offers' but added a "It's our intent on allowing this team to grow together", when he was pressed about the Gasol trade.

Reasons the Bulls won today:
-Ronnie Brewer (hustle and all-around great game)
-John Lucas (key scoring)
-C.J. Watson (key scoring)
-Taj Gibson (rebounds, defense, offense)
-Joakim Noah (defense on Bosh, aggressiveness on offense)
and to a much lesser extent: Luol Deng, Omer Asik, Jimmy Butler, and Kyle Korver

Boozer is a huge disappointment. We all know that. But he wasn't terrible tonight. He was solid rebounding-wise. He didn't help with much else than being a guy to make this team a little bit deeper.

Agree but Boozer is not a disappointment this year.I would say he is more of a secret weapon. You don't know if he shows up in the ECF or the Finals. He can do it.He has proved that he can do it this year.So don't erase him from the map so easily. If he doesn't show up you have the guys to replace him and he is solid in rebounding too.Today that was the minimum you can get from Boozer. And it was a mature game in every category except scoring.I will give him props for TRYING in defense more than what he did in previous games too.
