Brandon Roy Free Agent next year?

According to HoopsHype.com Brandon Roy's contract is up after this season. I haven't heard his name in any of the FA hype. Did Portland sign him to an extension that isn't finalized yet?
I think he would be the perfect pairing with DRose, funny that we could have drafted him. There must be something else that I am not seeing because everyone would want him, no?

He signed a near max extension this past summer. He and Aldridge are both locked up.
