We were looking for a PF in that draft. Honestly we should have kept LaMarcus Aldridge, but he didnt exactly become the post player we wanted him to become. In the lottery, there's really only two guys who lived up to the worthiness of their pick and that was Brandon Roy and Rudy ***. Rondo is the only other All-Star from that draft and he fell to 21. All three of those guys are positions we did not need in 2006. We needed a center and a power forward. We were set with Deng, Gordon, and Hinrich.

Wow. Had no idea his knees were that bad. Everything I've read said he's still wanting to play and knows his role will be reduced. I wonder why he and the Blazers aren't willing to restructure his deal so they can get some cap relief.

I knew they were bad, but figured he'd just be dumb enough to get the most money he could and not be able to walk in 6 years.

Kudos to him, sincerely.

you are right about most of that, but tyrus was the worst outcome out of all of them. and we chose tyrus...Aldridge would have been the way to go.

but no need to dwell on the past..

All of them as in Power Forwards or any player in the draft? Cause I'm sure Adam Morrison would beg to differ.

I really enjoyed watching him. When he was at Washington, he made some amazing shots in the NCAA Tourney. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors. He was a great talent when healthy.

Its a shame. He was a good player when healthy and everything. The injuries just got to him. I feel bad for the guy. Good luck to him in whatever else he goes to pursue with his career/life.

Wow...that really sucks. I always liked Roy...it'll be a shame not to see him playing anymore. I guess that means he'll be taken out of 2k12 too... :(
