Going to Rangers, probably.

The Cubs backed out, due to a kinda high price and medical records.

The Nats are still pursuing.

An NL Central team is making a late run. My guess Pitt. Mil won't pay and no room, Cards have no room, Cubs backed up, Reds are doing nothing and the Astros won't take the risk.

Also, the Pirates have interest in Pavano is price is right, makes perfect sense.

I hope Cashner can be a legit starter.

I honestly have serious, serious doubts about his fastball. Personally, I think his effective career is over.

Yeah, it all depends. But yeah his fastball is gone. High of mid 80's right now.

Just found out today that like 30% of pitchers with shoulder injuries return to be effective. That's awful. Its like 70% for elbow injuries.

Webb wouldnt help this team. Hopefully Cashner can be what Wood was in 1998 to Cubs.

As we already know, the NL Central has a mystery team in on Webb.

We know the Cubs backed off a little, consider him a 'plan B'. The Brewers and Reds are not the mystery team. So, it leaves the Cards, Astros and Pitt. My pick still goes to the Pirates. That I mentioned yesterday before all the recent news.
