I love Frank, I've known him for years, and he certainly lives and dies for the club, there's no question there. What I worry about are him needing to work on formations, tactics, adjustments and substitutions. I hope that he got some of the 'freshman year' coaching errors out in the last season and that he gets as much coaching info and experience in the off-season as possible. If the players are going to other countries and leagues to learn, so too can the coaching staff.

I havent heard of him, is he the on ethat took over after they canned the previous coach? Also, the Fire need some stability at coach and on the roster. What I dont like about MLS is the player turnover on some teams, and a lot of young guys.

:yep: That guy.

And the Fire aren't expected to have much turnover this off-season. :hi5:

For those that don't follow the Fire closely other than results:
Frank Klopas is a Fire original, he was on the '98 team that won the double, but he also had played for the Chicago Sting and then AEK Athens after that (where he won both the Greek SuperCup and League in '89 and '90).

Frank Klopas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Read up. And trust me, you won't meet anyone involved in this organisation (myself included) who is more Chicago Fire than Frank except maybe Peter Wilt.
