Dave Strader and his buddy Darren Pang have recently been spotted on Lake George with Anze Kopitar and Darryl Sutter.

Strader was quoted as saying.

You know, the Kings got hosed in the playoffs by the Blackhawks. I almost feel like you guys played good hockey this whole time, regardless of the series result.

Sutter responded

I can't believe Kompon beat me.

Pang said

The Blackhawks were lucky that the Kings only played good hockey.
Go Blackhawks :buttrock:

You know, just for grins I watched and actually listened to these two boneheads for awhile last night. I think I turned the sound down for good sometime during game 2 when the series was originally broadcast. I was just curious to see if I had jumped the gun a bit and came down on them too hard. Nope. Actually, I didn't come down on them hard enough. While Strader's goal calls are actually pretty good, the rest of the dynamic duo's broadcast bordered on complete ineptness. They spent nearly the whole pre-game opening sequence telling everyone what the Kings needed to do to force a Game 6 and turn the series around. Not a single word about the best team in the league about to be going to the big dance. At least Eddie O gives an effort to be down the middle with his commentary, these goofs don't even bother to try.

We get spoiled with Foley and Edzo, but Foley I think tries to be objective, a lot more so than Hawk.

Listening to Doc again, man we are spoiled as hockey fans to hear him. If he could cover NFL games for FOX :fap:

Yep. Pat Foley is great but there's a reason why Doc is the Big Dog for the NHL....he's simply the best at what he does. The pairing with Edzo is a bonus.

You mean replace Joe Buck?

Dave Strader could replace Joe Buck......
