Given their resurgent seasons, I can see how these dots could be connected.
Not giving it a shred of credibility til I see/hear something more legit than an Internet forum discussing it, however. I'm sure that at least one of the White Sox beat writers will get wind of it eventually and we'll go from there.

I talk to Dan Hayes ALOT I will ask him. someone needs to dig into this rumor. As I agree with the source being weak, I wouldnt be shocked.

I'm not saying I believe the report, but a report was mentioned very ealry about Melky Cabrera and the report was right on. I can't remember which source it was but he was yelled at. Then the report a few weeks later, came out saying Cabrera was positive. Like I said, I'm not buying it yet until the league confirms it and the plyer aplogizes (which always happens lol).
If they did text positive, hopefully it'll come down when the playoffs is over...

depends on the source of this rumor vs the source in SF. SF could have been an insider, but as we know now, this is someone on the internet...hope its not true and it would be bad timing for this and for baseball, but if it is true the timing would scare players even more because it will show that the MLB doesnt give a **** when and what part of the season they suspend someone....keeps players honest.

Yeah, true... but it already shows the MLB does not five a **** about them anymore. They are suspending tons of players .. minors and majors. Who are these sources? Have they been right before? I know their not the main media, but I have heard of them before. I don't follow the Sox too much and don't look at their sources.
