This. Overrated system guy that needs much help with great system and personnel.

Will be fun to see our backup, that members compare to Purdy, (not me) deals next week. I don't think the Bear can win against the Chargers without opening it up some. Herbert will do well enough against the C2 and Chargers D will play up. I think we're going to find out if Bagent can throw downfield. Protecting him again won't have a good result.

C2 is great against young and/or shitty QBs. Herbert is neither of those.

Agreed. We must have watched a different game than everyone else. He throws with anticipation and has poise in the pocket. His arm is more than good enough as well. The 1st interception, the receiver runs a bad route and the timing is not there. It's partly on Purdy IMO because it does look like he threw it too wide, but it's not a horrible interception. It happens. 2nd interception there are like 35 seconds left and they have no timeouts from the 40. You have very limited options there.

He led them on a drive in the Browns game and the guy missed an easy game winning kick. Not his fault at all. Overall, I think he is playing very well. Not sure why so many here hate him so much.

He's fine but overrated because he's a system guy on a great team, Nothing wrong with that and he deserves to start and run that system but he's not special. By the way, when Purdy came into the league, his max velocity was 50 MPH. He can now get it up to 55 by winding up, torque and fully step in but his normal quick throws haven't changed.

You know I’m no QB guru but maybe don’t throw across your body into the middle of the field with a mini-rainbow into 8 deep zone coverage.

Herbert has A 27-28 Record in the League with A good Run game, the Chargers are cursed.
