Don't specifically remember saying that. I could have said something like he'll have periods of up and down because all rookies do. But I don't specifically remember saying he'd take awhile to adjust. I said he was ready to be called up before Baez was last year.

Thank God it did. He hits very well, and doesn't swing for the fences.

We had two guys come up last year and hit three in their first three games, and each swings for the fences every time up. I don't need to see anyone else do that.

I'll ask you to provide an example. The only prospect in recent memory I've talked down quite a bit was Baez. In fact, I specifically remember having a conversation with SilenceS about Bryant being different than Baez despite both having high AAA K rates because Bryant walks. I also remember telling someone who was commenting about Bryant's potential average that he probably wasn't going to hit .300 but that if he hit .270 he was going to have a .400 OBP.

My point on that post is it's either an alt or a banned returning. No one posts that informally about someone's postings from a long time ago if they are new to the forum. If it isn't JJ it is highly likely someone else familiar to the forum.
