In the future to come? Sure. I could buy it. But presently? That's certainly up for debate.

This article leaves out, in my opinion the best of all.

Miggy and Cespedes in Detroit. No contest.

Fielder and Beltre are pretty damn good in Texas this year. They'd be my 2nd.

Posey and Belt are always solid in San Fran. I'd put Rizzo and Bryant right after them.

Avi Garcia and Abreau on the south side are hot too. Also, though Cano's bat isn't primed and going--he and Nelson Cruz are solid.

I agree on Rizzos part and soon as Bryant starts hitting more hrs I'll buy it all.

You will see Bryant numbers inflate substantially when he gets protection. In years to come, if you throw Schwarber and Soler behind him, he is going to get better pitches.

Right now, they have had Castro, Montero, and Coghlan behind him. That will change in short time.

I'm not worried about Bryant really, in time he will be a top 5 player in all of major league baseball.......

Nor am I. But let's just say tha Schawrber and Soler are hitting behind he and Rizzo. Now who do you throw to in fear of walking someone and putting runners on with power hitters behind him?

Hos numbers will definitely increase.

As of now, he is by far the most exciting player on the Cubs team as he is showing everyone what hustle is all about.

He has had Rizzo hitting behind him. I don't believe that theory holds much water unless you are talking about hitting right infront of a pitcher. Maddon talked about that when he made his decision regarding Russell hitting #9. He wanted lower pressure hitting but not in front of the pitcher where they could just pitch around him.

Now adding Baez later season will help in run generation in theory. But in hitting protection I don't put too much into that. Unless the situation dictates a walk, ie 1 out and man on 2b and walking sets up a x2 play. VS just walking a guy not to face him? Doubtful that they would put a potential run on 1B.
