Bucs release ex-Bears WR Bradley

The Tampa Tribune reports: The Buccaneers released ex-Bears receiver Mark Bradley and signed rookie punter Brent Bowden.

Tampa Bay's release of Bradley comes as a surprise considering he was expected to compete for a starting position this season. A restricted free agent this offseason, Bradley signed a one-year deal worth $1.2 million.

Bradley played for the Bears from 2005-2008 (38 receptions, 583 yards, 6 TDs).

Bradley actually showed signs of being a decent WR...but injuries derailed him. And when your top game is considered "decent", injuries can be a career-killer.

Another Angelo miss on the offensive side of the ball. I thought Bradley had some talent, but always seemed to get hurt when ever it seemed like he was starting to become a part of the offense. Not a big loss for the Bucs I would guess.

Yeah it was injuries that set him back. Plus i believe he had some work ethic problems. But damn, he got cut for a punter lol. I didnt even know the Bucs picked him up. I thought he was still with the CHiefs.
