The Tampa Tribune reports: The Buccaneers released ex-Bears receiver Mark Bradley and signed rookie punter Brent Bowden.
Tampa Bay's release of Bradley comes as a surprise considering he was expected to compete for a starting position this season. A restricted free agent this offseason, Bradley signed a one-year deal worth $1.2 million.
Bradley played for the Bears from 2005-2008 (38 receptions, 583 yards, 6 TDs).
