The Gold Glove awards won’t be handed out until Tuesday, but according to Mark Buehrle’s wife the Chicago White Sox pitcher has won his second consecutive defensive award.
“So proud of my husband,” Jamie Buehrle posted Monday on her Facebook page via the Chicago Tribune’s Mark Gonzalez. “He is now a TWO time gold glove winner!!!”

From ProRumors.
We'll see if this is true.

Ya, nice play on the first day. However, I think it was a little overrated.

You really think the Cards would give up Rasmus in a deal for Burls?

They could. Buehrle's deal is done after the 2011 season, and depending on what Brad Penny would want (undoubtedly his deal would last through 2012), the Cards could ship off Rasmus for Buehrle and his deal, which would clear some space under whatever their budget is to re-sign Pujols.

Has Rasmus even gone to arb yet though? He isn't that expensive yet.
