Stopped listening when you said that you wanted Joakim Noah to enter the NBA draft a year early so the Bulls could take him #2 overall ahead of LaMarcus Aldridge. If you were kidding about that, I'd gladly go back and listen to the rest of what you have to say, but may God help you if you are serious.

i agree with him. i would have taken him over LA too. If noah ever develops a consistent offense, not all star, just a few post moves and a jumper, i'd like him more than LA. If you look it at they're about to get paid relatively similar numbers.

LA is overrated. How can you play 38mpg and not even pull down 6 rebounds? Sure he can score but its mostly off jumpers and open duunks. He doesn't create much and his rebounding is terrible. His defense isn't too much better. I'd take Noah over him unless I had Dwitght Howard at center.

You saying you would like Noah over Aldridge IF Noah has a virtual revamping of his offensive game...in other words, you wouldn't take Noah over Aldridge...

yeah he was a sleeper. in retrospect, he was the clear cut 1 pick, but no one saw that coming.

naw i meant to say i would have picked noah over LA as well based on college performances.

I was going to write more, but i decided not to. I was going to say dollar for dollar, i think i'd rather have noah. Seeing as noah wants 70 million, I think i'm reserving judgement until noah's contract situation is played out.

I think LA is a bit overrated. people treat him like a budding star, but i dont really see it. he's good, but he's not great.

with that said, i'd take noah and boozer as my front line over oden and la.

also i dont want a virtual revamping. he's a decent free throw shooter. Although he has a low release, if he manages to hit open shots from mid range, i'd be thrilled. Also he has a hook shot going, if he continues to develop that and adds one or two more moves, i think that'd be sufficient. I never want noah to be anything above a 4/5 option offensively, i'd just like him to get a little better, so he will always be able to finnish when rose and boozers get double teamed.

He wasn't a sleeper, there were concerns over his knee and his upside as he came out as a senior. He also wasn't the most athletic. Turned out to be the best though.

Maybe you would have...but that is a lot...A LOT of 20/20 hindsight. A lot of people advocated getting Aldridge because he had a ready made back to the basket game. The Bulls supposedly didn't take him because Skiles didn't like him. Something to do with Skiles starring Aldridge down and Aldridge "cowered" in some fashion over dinner. I don't know whether to believe that or not. I do know that Pax and Co. still would have been awed by Tyrus Thomas' "freakish athleticism"....which never really lived up to potential.
