the goal in playoffs this year is to avoid a trip to florida. We have to seed according to boston. If boston is a 1 seed, we need to be a 4/5. If boston is a 2nd seend, we have to be 3. We always get our asses handed to us by orlando, and we don't want to see miami in the playoffs. Let's play either the hawks/knicks in the first round. Beat them. Play boston. Hope boston has more injuries, hope kg's legs aren't in pristine shape, and take it them. Hope orlando takes out miami. If not, let's hope a hustle play for a loose ball sprains bosh's ankle.

You play the best, screw all that crap...play who is in front of you. The Bulls are only what, 3 or 4 games out of first in the conference? Play who is there man, if the Bulls are intimidated? Play better against the better teams, plain and simple.

Let's see how this team looks when fully healthy.

There's no reason to fear any team, because we haven't had a full squad, so no team has played us at our absolute best.

I think we can take any team in the East when we have a full squad.

We've never played Orlando fully healthy either, so you never know. Plus Boozer won't have to chase Lewis around the perimeter anymore so if nothing else, that plays into our favor. We have and probably always will have trouble with Howard, but not many teams don't. Unfortunately we don't have 600 lbs of big guys in the starting lineup like Boston did when Garnett was out or the depth that they have in the frontcourt. However, I think Thibs can come up with a good enough strategy to beat them. The basic idea of let Howard get his and make everyone else beat you could work. I won't write the Bulls off just yet.

the playoffs are about matchups. why wouldn't you want to use that in your favor?

Matchups are for teams who are not that good and have to go a certain route to win. The best teams beat all comers. I am reserving the right to wait until seeing the team healthy before making any decisions about who they should face. Orlando is a problem based on Howard and Nelson giving Rose problems. But you gotta beat that team if you want to be on a championship level year in and year out. That is pretty much simple.
