Yippy the Bulls have homecourt advantage again.
I said "yippy" last year and by the end of the conferance finals, I busted up my old t.v..
I'm not going to make a big deal out of homecourt advantage cause it doesn't mean that much unless the Bulls take better advantage of it this time around.
We will see what happens sooner than later.
Don't mean to sound sour, just being realistic for the moment.

Last year, my hear told me that the Bulls would win but my head still said Miami. I think a lot of posters would tell you the same thing.

This year, my heart and my head say Bulls. The Bulls just look like a much, much better team, all-around.

Bulls vs. Thunder in the finals. Book it!

Actually there almost the exact same team minus Bogans&Thomas with Rip Hamilton as the addition. But maybe a wiser team than last year. And if Rip holds up, could make it a little easier for Derrick to function more as a distributer.
I hope your right about them getting out the east.
I definately have my fingers crossed....

Agreed. Difference this season is the level of "cohesion", as Boozer puts it, among the players. Last year was a complete shock to almost every Bulls fans system. 9 new players, new coach, & a new system, & the team ends up #1 overall w/ Rose winning the MVP, it was all a lot to take in & could make homers out of almost anyone.

Rose's injuries this season have really been a blessing in disguise. You never want your MVP out that long, but his extended absences have given every other starter & member of the bench mob incredible boosts in confidence & built an incredible chemistry within the locker room. The best D, rebounding, passing, & bench, coupled with an improved offense should give everyone good reasons to believe this team can win it all.

Great point.
Does anyone if Thibbs is going to rest the starters against Cleveland?
I know its not an important game, but it sure would be embaressing to loose to Cleveland no matter the situation.

I would imagine the Bulls would beat Cleveland either way.
The Cavs are pretty dam bad. The only way I see a loss in the game for the Bulls, is if the players put in 0% effort and go to sleep on them.
But then again,Any team can win on any given night.
The Cavs might treat this game as if its there championship just to say they won a game against the #1 seed.

I bet the starters will be playing 20-25 minutes.

Glad they got it. Now time to prove they deserve it. Get to, and win, the ECF!

Grats to the Bulls. I think we have an edge going into the playoffs. Our second team is confident after playing sOOOOOooo much in the regular season. They have a rhythm, they know what they're doing. Rip is coming on and now Rose is getting back into playing shape. Teams don't have a real good sense how they will play together and what to expect, how to game plan for it.

I love what I see from Da Bulls going into this playoff. :elephant::buttrock::bullbang::bullbang:

Thibs should rest Deng. Rose needs to play to egt his rhythm back and he needs some more time to gel with Rip. Maybe we should rest Boozer since he's the only start who surpringly hasn't missed a game this season... but it's not like he logged many minutes.

I agree, I'd give Deng off the next two nights. Or play him very limited minutes (Like how Rip was treated, play 1st and 3rd, rest other quarters).

Also, I'd let Boozer go for a personal accomplishment of being able to play a full season. Just let him have that one.
