Kukoc was one of the greatest international players ever. Kukoc would have been an All Star if he played almost anywhere else. The three rings were icing.

I agree that his play certainly does not warrant him making it into the HOF, if they think his transition from international play to the NBA was impactful in popularizing the game in Croatia and surrounding areas enough to where it warrants it, then I could almost accept it.

I feel like someday, he will get in.

He was an amazing three-point shooter but at too low of a volume to be considered. Although he's hit many clutch shots.

He was a meh GM.

He was a VERY good broadcaster but not for a long enough time span.

He is a very good coach. And I think he will do that for long enough to get in the HOF.

Basketball has the worst hall of fame. Pending even 10 minutes thinking about is a waste.

Just like Oscar Scmidt and Arvidas Sabonis, Kukoc Euro career trumps his NBA career

Okay, but sounds like he's being considered now.. already.

I'm perfectly okay with him entering the HOF once he's done as a coach, especially if he wins 3+ titles, and has the GSW team doing well for a long time. I can't say his NBA playing career/college career is HOF worthy what so ever.

Are you being fastidious? They are talking about Johnny Kerr. I asked the question so I won't look too stupid by making the correction. Johnny Kerr is more deserving than Steve Kerr at this point. If you know this, my apologies...

When I saw this I thought Steve Kerr at first but then figured it had to be Red because why the heck would Steve be considered at this point? Sure enough, it is Red.

LOL this is pretty good. Rami white knighting for Steve Kerr in the HOF(seriously...this is fucking laughable) when it was Red Kerr.

Is it Red Kerr's birthday too?

I loved Toni. I would love if they brought him back to coach up Mirotic.
