As a major bandwagon Bulls fan, I have a LOT of opinions on this.

They need size. He's a decent veteran as well.

The news was broken by Rick Carlisle himself during post game after Thompson had 17pts. Was an interesting announcement.

Rick trying to get us investigated again. We gotta be the worst tamperers in the league.

Good move. Need someone that can rebound other than Vuc.

Yeah I watched his Pacers vs Cavs game and you could tell he and Love had some practice scores to settle.

So motivated he looked good. He physically fought a large strong 7’ just fine and that’s the type of sentry defender we need down there at times, or just to roll with a bench mob and get Vuc some more breaks.

If we could have gotten Barnes or Grant for Williams what do you guys think?

The best defensive player in 2023-25 is probably the best fit, IMO, for this Bulls team. That actually makes this closer than it would be yeah?

I think you’d be selling low on Williams but I don’t know. Is his potential still projecting to ever be as good as Barnes or Grant?

That’s a hard level to attain even for a lottery pick.

With White progressing his best asset…scoring…falling into that Stackhouse role I pegged for him on draft day…we certainly have no shortage of ammo.

The more this goes on I think it’s Caruso you want to prove is recovered and sell high back to Lakers or move to Knicks or Heat before he gets hurt again and plummets his value.

If Thompson can do what we've been lacking at PF/C.. I'll be happy.

He's a former starting center on a championship team 6 years ago. He doesn't give you much offense except a lob threat/put backs. He gives you another great rebounder to relieve Vooch for about 18 minutes per game. At those kind of low volume minutes, I expect him to look like a highly active, burst of energy type of player.

All things considering, solid pickup. Rebounding has been an issue for this team at many points and that is his strength. Decent interior defender, but not much offense. There's probably no chance he and Vuc share the floor, but that's fine.

How dare you suggest trading MVP Caruso
