All of you are going to have to come to grips with the fact that this year is not last year. Last year was awesome. Probably a good majority of you never knew who guys like Ronnie Brewer or CJ Watson were. You most definitely did not know Omer Asik.

So to get basically a whole new roster, with a new coach, with a homegrown superstar taking that next step was amazing. We knew they would be good, but no way did any of think they'd be 62-20.

Some people in the national spotlight are still high on the Bulls this year, some think they will regress. That is ok. They don't need to share your opinion, because it is their job to form their own. If they put DRose 8th in the MVP voting 4 days into the season.....who cares? Why should that affect the way you view your team?

So please. Pump the brakes a little bit on the stuff you see in this Bulls forum. They'll still be good.

Ranking Zach Randolph, Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, and (yes) even Dwyane Wade is Special person and (in my opinion) disrespect to Derrick Rose.

Ranking LeBron over him is one thing. But those guys? That's a joke. It has shit-all to do with homerism.

By your own criteria Zach Randolph is just as valuable to his team as is Rose. So is Carmelo, and so is Wade. The only person I'll give you is Blake Griffin but Chris Paul is certainly is in the discussion as well.

It is not disrespect, especially when you consider the criteria you put forth in the other thread.

I don't care if your opinions are whatever they are, but at least be consistent.

Consider that Rudy *** is returning to that team to take away scoring opportunities from Randolph and there is no reasonable explanation which someone could come up with that Z-Bo is going to be the difference in more wins for his team than Rose is for his.

Since I have been following the NBA closely for a long time...I agree that most fans in general wouldn't know the specifics on certain players. Using Brewer or Watson is a good example.

I personally do not hold unreasonable expectations for this team this season. It's just plain stupid to believe that they could repeat every single accomplishment that they did last season.

Though, it's not wrong to hope for them to pull another 62-20 & push themselves into the Finals this time around. That's fandom, you root for you team to play well all them time. To not want that to happen just shows how much some may not give a shit about their team(s). It's a choice to do so.

I get your logic Prope, I do. Which is why I have to agree easily with it. Make no mistake I take this team, as well as any of the other 29, with a heavy dose of reality. Retardly overrating any team, ours or not, isn't smart.

Good points! :D

I never once said that Chris Paul wasn't in the discussion. But Anthony is going to by the difference in more wins for N.Y. than Rose will be for the Bulls?

The Bulls without Rose would likely not be as good as the Knicks without Anthony. The Bulls with Rose are definitely better than the Knicks with Anthony. It is largely a matter of opinion but I'm pretty sure most people would draw that same conclusion.

I was never outraged by any BSPN article. I merely called it out for the joke I thought it was. It annoys me that people could draw conclusions like that based on... nothing.

http://www.chicitysports.com/forum/...ose-getting-shaft-projected-mvp-voting-7.html

Call me when Z-bo and 'melo and Griffin are the hands-down MVP of their own teams.
Umm I think that's what this list is trying to project jackwad.

It's trying to let you know the call will be coming.

Nice work fucking that up!
