With each team being relatively young and loaded, are these 2 teams going to be 1/2 for a long time to come. I think for many years to come these teams will finish the season 1/2. What do you guys think?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Yeah. Too bad the Bulls will likely be #2 unless something happens to Miami or the Bulls get better.

If the Knicks ever get a real coach they will make a jump up into the conversation as well.

True, once the Knicks have a more defensive minded coach, they'll be a good team. Of course I think a lot of the Knicks problems right now is the lack of a PG. That said, even with a PG, they're aren't a top team in my view. They are a better team obviously, but still very beatable with D'Antoni.

The Bulls and Heat are essentially going to be fighting for the top seeds over the next 5 years providing nothing catastrophic happens. For this season, I would not be surprised to see the Bulls fall into #2 as they have continued injury issues, and the #1 injury prone player has yet to have anything happen to him, Boozer. Though to some, I'm sure that would be a blessing rather than have him be healthy.

You are probably talking about the East.Because if you are talking about the NBA,Oklahoma will be #1-#2 for the next 6 years for sure.

In the East I think that the Bulls and the Pacers will be 1-2 for the next few years.Pacers won't be this year but from the next year they will be.I have a strong feeling that the big 3 will split after this year's possible failure.

To build a good team it needs more than big stars. The Knicks are the perfect example. You need chemistry, you need depth, you need good coach, you need motivated players with the competition in their blood and not f*****s like Carmelo_Of course if you have all that and you have big stars too you build a dynasty. The Heat's failure is also a good example.Be sure that this year they won't even go in the finals.Of course they have the biggest stars thats why they are not like the Knicks but still for their star's talent it is a failure that they don't dominate the league. They have no luck against the bulls with or without Howard.

I don't expect everyone to understand why but more and more will understand it soon.

Everyone who see, that the Bulls have played:
1)10 times back to back games and one time back to back to back
2)20/30 games on the road most of them with 1-2-3 starters injured
3)3-5 games more than most of the teams in only one month

and despite all that they are still #1,can easily understand who will be #1 this year.

The Knicks will be fine once they get a decent starting PG. But what they also need also is a decent big man off of the bench and another decent wing off of the bench.

Yeah without a doubt, but the Pacers and Sixers have been amazing this year. Bulls, Miami, Philly, and Indiana will definetly be at the top of the confrence without a doubt.

I can't say who will be 1 and 2 the next 5 years...The East has a lot of good teams.
You never know which teams will have injuries, or make blockbuster trades.....
If we happen to lose Rose for because of major injury, it would change the lansscape easily.....
Yo never know what will happen the next season.....I'm going to refrain from making predictions unless its season to season.

Knicks should be better then they are playing, but I don't see them in the top 3-5 teams for awhile. It will be Bulls, Heat, Indy, Atlanta, Philly for the most part over the next few years.

Not when you have a player who's arguably the best halfcourt player in the league in Melo & you play a fast break, spread offense. The Knicks will not be a contender until D'Antoni is gone. I saw this as a problem when Melo was traded & it's become a MAJOR problem this year. D'Antoni's system only looked great because he had one of the best PG's of all time running it.

D'Antoni owes his reputation to this man.

We need to wait and see what happens with howard and then williams. Too much can happen over the next 5 years.
