The best player on the '85 Villanova team that wasn't high on coke in the title game. Welcome aboard, Ed.

Having massive miscellaneous topic threads is a disaster for forum organization, SEO, and hard for stray users. I'll stake my 20 year reputation with bulletin board optimization and software on it. This is perfect.

Bring a good former player to this coaching staff is great. He played well back then with the Celtics. I hope he can add some talents to the team.

Doc Rivers
George Karl
Byron Scott
Phil Jackson
Scott Skiles
Avery Johnson
Doug Collins
Nate McMillan
Paul Westphal
Jerry Sloan

and I might add Terry Porter....all average to above average players in their careers who have made a good living coaching.

Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and to a lesser extent Larry Bird. Three of the all-time greats and not much in the coaching/executive department.
