Eddie Curry is only 29 years old. He has lost over 15 pounds and seems to be in better shape than he has been in years. If indeed Currys intentions are to ressurect his career, with his size and offensive capabilities, I don't see how he could hurt the Bulls at all...Potentialy could increase our arsenal at our center rotation so I personally wouldn't have a problem having Curry in our bottom of the bench rotation....Id take him over that Radmonovich piece of shit so why the Hell not????..Plus we could probably get him for peanuts so its basically a no loose situation....:smug:

The article stated that there's like 5 teams interested in him. His asking price will be greater than the vet min.

Eddy can lose all the weight he wants to he'll still have the same weight between the ears and he'll talk like his attitude and approach will be all improved the day his signs the contract but it's won't last a week into the season. Twelve years? after he got drafted still all that's left is potential and his agent may put the Bulls in the story but until I see Paxson say they're considering him it's just bull.

What happened to Paxson's stance that he can't be on the team with his heart condition?

LoL, I was just thinking the exact same thing before I read this......... Paxson is a flip flopper..........................................

On another note,
I know a lot of people on Bulls forums have a lot of nasty things to say about Curry and its justified if its based on his productivity since he was traded from the Bulls....But I've always felt Pax made a mistake in letting him go after his most productive year as a Bull regardless of his heart condition which Bulls management kind of blew out of proportion.....I believe if Eddie wouldn't have been dissed by Paxson and traded to the lowly Knicks, his career would of ended up much much better than it has since his departure from the Bulls...It was a shame because Curry was finally coming into his own and did actually have a pretty dam good season in 2004-05.......And I'm not saying Eddie will be a monster for the Bulls now, but purhaps much better than he has been since he left Chicago.....Coming home and being near his family and friends could be the type of motivation he needs to at least be a kind of respectable player again...Just sayin.

if we bring another bull back it should be Ben Gordon, he could actually help us big time till rose comes back and be a good 2nd option when rose does come back and he is somebody we can count on to come up in the clutch

16 points off the bench for the cats today...could curry even get 16 in 3 games playing starter minutes? could he even play starter minutes without dying? probably not

i know yall hate it when me and scottie talk about BG but were just trying to spread the good word #BringBenBack2013

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
I thought they discovered that his heart condition was actually a mis-diagnosis. Thus why he didn't want to do the tests, and he was hiding the fact all along.

Purhaps the Bulls could offer Kirk Hinrich and Eddie Curry to Michael Jordan for Ben Gordon...:smug:

How exactly did Pax "diss" Curry? By asking him to take a DNA test to possibly rule out hypertrophic cardiomyopathy? Honestly, if I'm Pax & I've watched Eddy suffer two, yes TWO, heart arrhythmias within the same year, I wouldn't wait around for the third one. Pax was legitimately concerned with the health of one of his star players & wasn't going to let him step foot on the court until he felt it was 100% safe for him to do so. It wasn't all about the $$ & it certainly wasn't a "diss".

Eddy Curry had never trained, exercised, or ran as much as he did during the '04 summer & 04-05 season. Skiles had him running extra wind sprints before and after practice. He got down to almost 275lbs at his slimmest. In doing so, Eddy started having heart problems. It's no coincidence that since that season he's never trained hard again. Even if he was invited to camp, he would not make this team. Not with a hungry young center & hungry old vet gunning for the same spot.

Plus, Eddy Curry sucks anyway.

Well, he knows what it needs to win a ring! :troll:

Play 2 minutes and be an excellent cheer leader? Damn, Jordan and Kobe have worked way too much. If only Curry had come along a few decades earlier for them to learn from...

We MUST replace the White Mamba.
Curry can be our Black Mamba.
Except that Scal was probably a much better shooter, most certainly from 3 point range in garbage minutes, LOL.
