Enough of this 10-day contract BS. Give this guy a contract for the rest of the year. He works hard, plays smart and is a valuable asset for this team going forward. Keeping Lucas and Scalabrine and not giving James a roster spot would be beyond asinine IMO.

I'd take him over JL3. Can they do that? Cut JL3 and give Mike James his spot? Then they'd still have space to sign a big man or whatever if they want to do that. Seems like they're not going to make any moves though, so idk. Regardless, Mike James has played really well with us. I wasn't sold on him at first, but he's shown he can be a pretty good fit here.

He's playing for a contract, so of course we're seeing serious play from him, as soon as he gets a real contract, his incentive to perform drops a lot. He's good, but we shouldn't have 4 PGs on the roster. We could use backups at every position, other than point, and 10-days are perfect for this scenario we are in right now.

we don't. CJ is a 2guard in a pg body.

Watson, strictly as a PG > Mike James. And Watson doesn't get burned on D for the entire game, forcing him to choose between A.) Stupid Foul, B.) Allow easy layup, or C) All of the Above. Watson is a combo, he plays PG and can play SG, but to say he isn't a PG.... that's ridiculous. You may as well call Derrick a SG in a PG's body too.
