Okay, my game threads suck, so Cool007 can make something better, but now that if we get a win we clinch the 7th seed I'm amped to start the game thread anyway.

I am excited however, skool rather be the 8th seed and play the Cavs, I just feel we match up better with them.

That's not right Doug.

I got a 4-peat going on and you had to come in make a gamethread? How dare you???

J/k - it's all good.

I am happy with the 4-peat and hope we make it 5 in a row and then win-out.

IMO, it will be 8th seed or 6th seed. I just don't see 7th seed.

The reason I say that is. If we win against Pistons, I am pretty sure we will win against Raps, that will probably be good enough to be 6th seed - not 7th seed.

If we lose to Pistons, we are most likely making 8th seed as we lose the tie breaker against Pistons and we don't have one against Philly either.

Last time the Bulls played at the Palace, Stuckey dropped 40. Salmons struggled against Prince last time, so somebody else needs to step up. 2 of Thomas, Noah and Miller need big games here.

Can't allow Hamilton to go off either. BG and Kirk must stick him and contest his shots.

This is a big game for us. Need to win these last two and I think we can get Orlando at the 6th spot.

Haha, we have no traditions here, I'm not superstitious ;)

Though if you want to make a new one I'll sticky it and blow this one out of the water.

I agree with you that it now looks like the 6th seed or 8th seed most likely. Though I wouldn't count Philly out of winning 2 games either given that Cleveland may bench guys in the finale.

The celtics are a mystery box now. Whats going on with KG? YOu'd figure they'd like to have him back for the last couple of games. If he is out, I'd much rather have the celtics, I just think he will be out there in a wheelchair if he has too.

04/13/09 Bulls@Pistons -Biggest game of the season

Tomorrow Night the Bulls are at the Pistons and currently the Bulls are tied with the 76ers at 40 wins and 40 losses. If the Bulls beat the Pistons, than the bulls will move up to the 6th spot and the 76ers will move to the 7th while the pistons stay at the 8th.

The 76ers have the Cavs and the Celtics next for their final two games - those are almost guarranteed losses not to mention they are riding a 5 game losing streak as well.
The Pistons have just the Heat after the Bulls which is the Heat's last game as well and I see the Heat winning that one.

If the Bulls win tomorrow they will in my mind secure that 6th spot where we would avoid playing the Cavs and the Celtics in the 1st round, bring on the Magic, if we can get a win in their building we will get the series.

Cavs MIGHT not play their starters for too long but even if their starters play like 24 minutes (half the game), they would probably go up by 20 points and then rest and their bench is not too bad either - especially at home. I am not saying they will keep the 20pt lead but they could still win the game.

Also, Cavs can tie the BEST HOME RECORD in a LONG LONG time with the win so they might have some incentive there.

Just throwing this out there. I think it's LEGIT, and they really want it as well.

IMO, Bulls will win out. I know I am usually superstitious in Sports stuff and I usually wouldn't want to predict Bulls' win but I just feel different (and confident somehow) today. I think Bulls are playing good ball and they will come out with a big time intensity and win the game. I also predicted 6th seed for us before the season started and I am sticking to it (although I predicted 45 wins but 42 wins is superb as well -given that how many injuries we had).

I am SUPER PUMPED - I hope our players/coaches are as well. Big thing is, Vinny is not a good/great coach but he is still better than Mike Curry.

I hate NBA TV with a passion. The only purpose they serve is to blackout your games on league pass. Games should not be blacked out if they're on NBA TV. Either way, the NBA is going to capture the advertising revenue. All they're doing by blacking it out, is making sure less people watch it, which decreases their ad revenue.
