I don't know if this has been announced anywhere, but the Bulls will not be playing the Orlando summer league this year (BOO!) and instead will be playing in Las Vegas (BOO!). I was definitely going to go to Orlando, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go to Vegas or not.

As a side note, this is good for every Bulls fan except me, since the games should be televised.

Whos really going to play for this team? I doubt Rose and Noah said he won't either. They might just have to sign guys to play in this league if they don't draft anyone

I have no idea if Rose will play. Noah almost certainly won't play as you only play your first two years.

The Bulls will have their 2 draft picks tehre.

I might go to Vegas, I'm not sure yet. I was definitely going to Orlando, but i'm not sure about Vegas because it is scheduled differently, so if I go I'm not sure how many Bulls games I'd see.

Considering how many games/minutes Rose played this season he is almost a definit not to play. We will probablly have all invites and out picks.

I thought Tyrus played last year.

He did.

The team can require 1st and 2nd year players to go. After that it's up to the player and typically it's only when a guy has something special going on.

Noah said he will practice but not play......

Rose shouldn't do neither. He should be in chicago working on things

It would be nice to see the picks and see Nelson play

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Draft picks + Nelson + Roberson? Rose and Noah are probably not going to play and I don't think they should. They're too good for that at this point. If they want to practice with them, I see no problem with that, but there's really no point in playing in the summer league since they won't get anything out of it.

Lol, yah I won't be making it to Orlando or Vegas so I guess I'm happy they are playing on TV. Hey I think they cancelled the Rocky Mountain League are they going to replace that one with another, I like summer league even if they don't matter at all.

I bet they turn Vegas into the only summer league so that it can all be centralized and better promoted for the league.

I'd be quite happy with a Chase/Mullens draft, though Mullens I think will be a huge bust, I'd sure as heck take the chance on him at 26, or if I took the chance on him at 16, I'd be amped to get Chase at #26.

See I got mad respect for you Dougy Fresh, but I just don't think Mullens is a bust in pending. I saw him play a couple times and Buford - along with Evans - didn't get him the ball as much. He would have his man sealed on the low post and they would slash to the basket with not giving him a touch. I think Matta just didn't want to give him touches for whatever theory. It's noway Dallas Lauderdale was suppose to outplay him. I just didn't get it, when he did have the ball, the guy displayed a finesse jump-hook or the up and under fade. I think he will prove people wrong and give someone 9 ppg his freshman season in the NBA.

YOu never know. Mullens has the size and athleticism to be a great player in the NBA, but he doesn't have the strength or skills right now. If he's good, I really don't see it being in his rookie year, and I've heard bad things about his work ethic and attitude, so that would make me fearful of him panning out in the future.

We'll see though, you don't get a chance to draft a guy who's athletic 7'1, and 260 in the 1st round at #16 if his game is really refined, so you know he's a high risk guy going into it.

Well you can't teach his size and athleticism - well maybe the athleticism - but you can teach skills. I think Ewing is living proof of that with Howard. Besides, Bulls just need somewhere to start and that combination wouldn't be bad at all. I think Brad Miller would help the Big-Ten guy out.

Mullens doesn't have Dwight Howard like size/athleticism though. He has a really good basketball body to be a big man, but not an elite once in a generation body like Howard.

We'll see on Mullens, I think there's a very good chance he's never more than a 20 minute per game player, but at the same time, you could also see him becoming a starting center in the league.

If they draft Mullens they would definetely have to bring in big man coach though
