Admins can take this down if need be

ok..i'm a superstitious sports fan, and i believe that good looking game threads help get W's..yes i believe that, sue me. That being said, if you are interested in setting up sweet game threads complete with analysis, images, videos etc, leave your name in the thread and state which game you want to handle. Its on a first come first serve basis. We are only guaranteed 4 games so get to steppin' fellas. If we end up playing more than 4 games, i'll update.

Round 1. (Vs Cleveland, Boston or Orlando)

Game 1: sdeezy :)
Game 2: cool007
Game 3: charity stripe
Game 4:

If you're the superstitious type then we should have Cool007 make them all, I believe we're undefeated in his game threads so far on this forum.

If we want to add to the superstition, then we should probably adopt the realgm philosophy of game thread winner does the next thread as well.

And as a response to your edit, I have no problem with you setting this up and organizing it and making your own rules, I like the initiative to organize something. He who has the ball makes the rules, and you took the ball uncontested, so go dunk it baby.

I better be doing these game threads as long as we win when I make the game threads.

Don't piss off the Cool man.

j/k. I am up for whatever. I will sign up for games from game # 2 to the championship game.

I'm curious to see what the Blackhawks will do with the $$ that actually belongs to us STHs.

The reason for my concern is the issue with Jako's STH-- they have money wrapped up in their click-tix account that the Hawks are not granting them access to.

So, IF there's a lockout, are they going to put the funds into click-tix for lost games? Meaning, will that money sit in an account that we can't access/withdraw?

I'm ready to call Tracy (my tix rep) to find out what the situation is, but I can almost guess that she won't have an answer.

Thoughts?

Just FYI, and I'm not defending the Hawks, but that deposit has always been non refundable.

I could be wrong, but I thought we got credit the last time the season was shortened. Don't think we paid in full (or even at all), for the full season lockout....will have to look for that old bill.

This is exactly what was done for my buddy who had Bulls tickets.

That's what I figured.

Guess I'll owe less come playoff time if there's an abbreviated season.

"The fundamental proposal, our initial proposal, relates to the fact that we need to be paying out less in player costs," he (Bettman) said.

How the hell can he say that with a straight face after this summer's signings?

The Blackhawk ticket reps are working the phones big time to get any past due STH's to pay their bill before the lockout is announced.

For those that don't know there are avenues to postpone paying your final bill on the due by asking for an extension.

One rep would not grant one to a friend of mine (per supervisor order) and he lost his ST's. Been a STH since the early 1990's.
