Free agent guard Flip Murray is receiving interest from the Cavaliers, Clippers, and Bulls.
Murray has also said that he'd be willing to re-sign with Charlotte. No matter where he lands, he should fill the same role -- bursts of scoring off the bench.

I will try to find a link.

Thoughts? I would rather have Matt Barnes and probably more but if his price tag is not high and he's the only option left. I don't mind it.

I would like to see Flip back, he showed some promise in the series against the Cavs.

Yes for the vet minimum. He can play a little point too.

He can't play defense, but he's a good scoring option off the bench

It makes no sense to sign Flip after acquiring Watson. CJ can play D and do everything Flip can do, and they are both around the same size, Watson has more reach.

I've always been a fan of Flip since his early days in SEA. He can be a hog at some times and he's really hot and cold but if he's your 4th guard, i'd say you've got good depth and if he can be had for a vet min(which i dont see happening if the Cavs are showing interest) he could be a good trading piece later on. I would like another length 2guard who could play D at this point but its slim pickins right now. Our core right now is set and outside of a legit backup C, we could use players like Murray who can come in and contribute.

I guess I'm just a fan of Flip's offense off the bench. He did well for his short time in Chicago
