The Memphis Grizzlies hung tough. They played outstanding defense. They scored inside. However, in the end, it wasn't enough. The Bulls defense didn't love up to its reputation tonight, but their rebounding did. Ultimately, the Bulls won this...

And he still managed to get 24 pts. and 7 assists. It's truly amazing what Rose is able to do on any given night. He came through when it counted.

hey fish, Rose didn't have a very good game. Stat line was good, but shot selection was bad...7 assists were good, but 4 TOs were bad. He's the unequivocal leader of one of the best teams in basketball, but jacking up 3's has to stop if he's not hitting them.

All I said was, despite his shot selection, he still managed to make 12 FTs and score 24 pts. It's remarkable what he does when it counts.

A lot of his shots missed were right at the rim. He had a really bad shooting game, but the fact that he still got 24/7/7 is just a testament to how good a player he is. Even though his shot wasn't falling, he found ways to contribute and ultimately still won us the game. Rose took 5 3's yesterday...it's a little on the high side, but really the only truly contested 3s he shot were near the end of the shot clock/to beat the buzzer. Rose shoots a lot of fairly open 3s and he just didn't make them. If Bogans shoots 7 wide open 3s and misses them all, I attribute that to Bogans sucking not Bogans jacking up 3s. Rose shot like crap, but he's not putting up too many bad shots.

Sorry about the name thing...didn't really know if "Fish" was even close to what you actually wanted to go by...

It is remarkable, but I guess my point was, if he settles for 3's in the playoffs, when the competition (at least after the 1st round) is constantly good, we'll lose those games. It's just a troubling trend.

That's what I'm saying. As far as his three's are concerned, he doesn't take many bad three's, except for the one's where he shoots them on the break, or heat checks. Most of the time, they are good shots.

The shots at the rim he missed were flukes really, but he made it when it counted and that's what MVP's do.
