Anyone ever get people coming to them asking why their computer won't play certain games or do certain things and when you basically explain that they bought a POS computer for 300$ from Walmart they go "HOW CAN IT BE A POS ITS NEW?!?!?"

Lol kind of as if buying a computer is like buying a car.... its new it has to work, right?!?!?

I've gotten it so many times from family.... its new it must be fast right? Its new it should be able to stream video to my TV right? Its new it must be able to play Crysis and Call of Duty right? ITS NEW.

These are the same people that answer "what do you have in your computer?" with...

"Dude, it's a Dell"


And when you ask them how much memory, they say like 500gb.

And you tel that that's the hard drive, they say... This thing? Or is that the CPU or is it the modem?

And you tell them, no, that's the computer itself. So fine, what kind of expansion ports do you have? Maybe you can just add a better video card.
"Uh, I have 2 USB ports"


Before you know it, they walk into Walmart and buy something like this...

And then ask you again. Dude, it's not playing Crysis.

My stepmom once bought a 200$ PC from Walmart.... it had an Intel Celeron CPU and integrated graphics, it had no stand-alone video card.... it wouldn't play any of the games my stepbrother wanted to play and she legit said "WUT DO U MEAN.... IT'S BRAND NEW?!?!?"... I was like 14 and I felt like I was explaining Calculus to a house plant.
