So, where do you guys buy signed Cubs stuff? I've seen a few websites, but do you ever trust Ebay? Or do you go to events to get things signed? I saw a baseball with 14 signatures from the 2016 Cubs and it was like $2,000. Damn. Any thoughts? I'd love to get something signed from some of the players this year, but wow, the cost has skyrocketed.

Any ideas?

THANKS!

TBH, you're kind of buying high right now.

Regular people who get things signed go to ebay to sell. That's just a fact of life. So what you need to weigh yourself, is whether someone has authentic or fake gear. When you buy from a reputable shop, they have methods to authenticate, regular fans who are just selling stuff have to pay a premium as well as know where to go. You can always get official authenticated autographs from MLB's official stores and affiliations through memorabilia companies, which is not cheap and doesn't have the biggest selection.

Best bet is to get tickets to a Cubs convention and DIY. Especially if it's just for yourself. Go early to a few games, stuff like that. Then you get to enjoy an event, and get the gear for around the same price.

I wouldn't trust Ebay, especially now because demand is going to be very high. Only buy from retail sellers that have a decent collection and do the signings in person
