Not sure who else uses Lambeau Field, but I can picture a bunch of monster truck rallies, rodeos, and maybe a circus.

They've had concerts there for the Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney but those events usually seem to take place in the early summer around June. This year Brett Favre had his first annual celebrity flag football game and he had to have it at Camp Randall in Madison. They wouldn't let him have it at Lambeau because they didn't want it to affect the field conditions and this was in mid July.

How fucking long is our field going to continue to be the embarrassment of the NFL? Surely the Bears management recognizes that whatever the ideal field is it isn't the shitpile we've got going right now? The Packers have a (basically) grass field, and nobody complains about what they're doing. This has gone on for so long that I'm sick of talking about it. What's taking so long, change the fucking field. Change it to literally anything. I don't care if you install a paint ball course in the middle of the home endzone, at least we'd know you're switching away from what isn't working.

FIX. YOUR. SHIT.

The only way grass works here is if they only use it for pro ball and that's not going to happen. They are actually doing a decent job of taking care of it the last couple years but there's only so much you can do. Pittsburg has the same kind of GrassMaster field as GB and it's one of the few that's worse than ours. Reason is, it's also not football only and can't recover. It also can't be resodded so is actually worse than ours for how we use it. Our best option is field turf or to improve the underground heating system, grow lamps, and make it pro football only which is doubtful and why the park district wants turf.

Completely cool with grass. Just get professionals to service it rather than Leroy's brother who gets paid 8.50 an hour and fixed his neighbors lawn mower once.

Maybe you are unfamiliar with the phenomena commonly know as winter? Oh, and fall?

PHILADELPHIA — Former Bears wide receiver Wendell Davis, considering a lawsuit over his injury at Veterans Stadium last October, has hired the Philadelphia law firm of Raynes, McCarty, Binder, Ross & Mundy.

Davis tore both patella tendons during a non-contact play. Davis is an unrestricted free agent, but his NFL career is likely over.

Two weeks after Davis' injury, two Akron University players suffered season-ending leg injuries in a game at the Vet against Temple.

Akron coach Gerry Faust called the surface "the worst I've played on in 36 years I've coached. We had two injuries that the field caused. No one even touched them. I don't see how the Eagles can keep a team."

Michael DiBerardinis, Philadelphia's city recreation director, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he felt Davis' injury had not been caused by the artificial surface at the Vet. "That injury could have happened anywhere on the field," he said.

Nevertheless, Veterans Stadium officials have reduced the number and height of the seams in the turf, many of which were caused by the need to change the configurations from baseball to football.

"I think they certainly have made some improvements," Eagles coach Rich Kotite said. "Next year they may replace it. But they've made some improvements with the seams. It's very difficult when you have a stadium that houses a baseball team and a football team because you have the seams from the infield. They did some things and it certainly looks a lot better than it has been."

Didn't realize Gerry Faust got another job after the Notre Dame debacle
