Any of you fucks have one? I've been looking around a little for a travel trailer and was wondering if anyone here had any practical experience with them. I don't want anything obnoxiously big, but enough room to be comfortable for 3-4 people. I was thinking somewhere around the 20' range w/ a slide out. Will mostly be used for weekends down to the Keys on weekends for diving / snorkeling trips (tent camping in the Keys is pretty limited and shitty in most instances), although I'd love to hit some national parks out west if I can get myself 100% remote by next summer. Any advice?

I don't have one, but would love to. Just no where to keep it. Take a look through Craigslist. At this time of year you'll probably find some great deals.

I kind of have the "where to keep it" problem too. There's a few people I know with a little land that I could probably park it at. Really don't want to pay for a parking spot at a storage facility every month.

My family has a massive 5th wheel with two slide outs. It's glamorous camping more or less. There are a ton of options out there for you though. They are getting more and more creative with designs. I've seen really nice pop up campers that are smaller, but still really nice. I don't really know if you are looking for new or used, but just visit a local RV Dealer and take a look around the lot to give you some ideas. Then once you find a design, you can look for a used one.

I know some companies include pricey memberships to a network of campsites with the sale of a trailer or RV. If you really want to maximize your buck, I would suggest factoring that in. For hookups, some places can be cheap, some can cost a shit ton for a night, so having the membership fee included can add up super fast.
