Didn't see it posted, but here's another example of how tough professional hockey players are. Torn meniscus in his knee and he played through it, that's an incredibly painful situation to be in. Campoli really impressed me(with the exception of the turn over in Game 7), could be a reliable guy for us in coming years.

Wow!

The guy really impressed me too.

I never, ever would have guessed he played injured.

Hopefully that doesn't turn into a long term knee issue.

I really think the guy is a keeper.

I would bet over the next six weeks or so that we start hearing of a number of such surgeries for our players.

Just sayin'

I wish they just released injuries after the series is done, or maybe I will give them to the end of the playoffs.

Hope he has a quick recovery. He was one of the few new people this year that impressed me.

Warrior... I hope we can keep this guy. I enjoyed his play and hold no grudge at all.

Get him to stick and the D lines are really very good. I am stoked to watch Leddy grow as well.

I say it again, get a NATURAL 2nd or 3rd line center and I argue a 2nd line since Bolland is just so good there, even though I am sure he would be great at the second line...

Keeper.

The D lines looked good. Rested, re-charged, with a chip on their shoulder next season they should be lights out.

I had a little birdie tell me that Keith is on the trading block.

Don't yell at me and if it is nothing (which I think it is nothing) then let's just say it was a bad rumor.

Just passing on what I was told from someone out east who has connections. I take it with a grain of salt though.

I say that's bunk. I believe any player can be had for the right price, but Keith's contract, the price for him, and the uproar that would ensue would be so detrimental to the team as a whole and to the organization it wouldn't be worth it.

How many years have we heard the Seabs was on the block even though the Hawks denied it. Now we just resign him. Is he on the block too? I this people make up these rumors to see who they can get a rise out of.

According to Capgeek, Keith has a No-Movement Clause.

Yeah, right.

1) Contract length

2) Value to Hawks

3) NMC(He can't be traded or waived unless he approves)

4) Reasonable cap hit

5) Coming off a poor season

Again. Yeah, right.

Was this little birdie high on meth?

Campoli/Blackhawks

9:33AM ET

Chris Campoli | Blackhawks

Defenseman Chris Campoli's future likely involves the Chicago Blackhawks. Acquired via trade from the Ottawa Senators at the deadline, the 26-year-old fit in well and was effective with his new squad -- despite quietly suffering with a fairly serious knee problem. (Note: Campoli had what's being called successful knee surgery earlier this week and is expected to be fully recovered in about two months.)

As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman "has made it clear since the acquisition that he believes Campoli could be more than a temporary fix". The soon-to-be restricted free agent is equally keen to remain with the club .

"I yelled at a reporter for stepping on the logo (in the locker room)," Campoli said during the playoffs. "So I think I'm officially a Blackhawk after that. I feel totally part of this team - right from Day 1. They've welcomed me with open arms." (Chicago Sun-Times)

I like to hear that...wuld have been better if he would have punched said reporter (or donkey-punched, assuming it was Kustok), but you can't have everything.
