Good relationship with the owners I assume. Don't the owners schedule who they play every preseason. Just like the giants always play the jets.

The Bears and Browns have an agreement that they always play their fourth preseason games against each other, taking turns in Chicago and Cleveland. As CBO said, it probably comes from good ownership relationships.

It's just preseason. I don't see why the new owner would even care about who they play in the 4th preseason game.

Revenue is Revenue man, preseason or not. But, I'm sure the Bears get more fans being close and an older team like Cleveland so I'm sure they will continue to play each other.

And possibly the most unimaginative name in Sports. I know they were named after legendary coach Paul Brown but this team isn't even the same franchise Brown coached - that team is now in Baltimore. As to why we play them every preseason - maybe the NFL is trying to get the Brwons some publicity.

I don't see any reason to change it. It's a mutually beneficial final practice session for the back end of the roster for both teams.
