Crack analysis from Bleacher Report: It's hard to win without your best player. Can't believe they don't charge people for this ground-breaking story.

There are fans that think they can. there has been a lot of that talk on WSCR

Depends who they play. Some people think it's just a cake walk if they play a Pacific team.

If Kane, Hossa, and Sharp keep dominating like they've been lately I think they can handle pretty much any of the Pacific teams. May not be a cakewalk, but it's certainly winnable even without 19.

Team defense will need to stay at it's current high level as well.

 sports radio

Now I understand where you're coming from.

listening to sports radio gives you opinions of fans, experts, host etc...a very huge variety. So many different opinions out there that are good to hear and good to hear a different perspective. They talk more in depth in specific statistics rather than the meatball fans wanting to see moarz fightingz and grindiness and stuff.

Of course they can. I mean he is there best player but hockey is a grind. I'd rather have a tough gritty team that wants to fight than a bunch of finesse players that are p******. To be successful you need a great combination of young talent, veterans and enforcers. And the Hawks have that.

Intellectual hockey talk on the radio in this country...in this county? Not much of that to go around.

Sirius Radio FTW!

I've been listening to Canadian radio stations via TuneIn on my Ipod. Now that I've a 3 month freebe of Sirius, I'll have to have a listen of the NHL channels they have. Any recommendations?

Sorry for continuing the derailment of this thread.

There are the game channels and right before or right after the game channels there are a few channels that talk only hockey. There is a huge variety and it seems that the hosts schedule is inconsistent. The one station is all in french so I would probably stay away from that one unless you know French. :) If it is before gametime like 4 or 5 hours before a matchup there is usually good hockey talk on that channel.

This.

Ultimately, I think we'll miss him but we can go as far as the 2nd round or even the WCF if we get the right match up. I don't think winning the conference is possible without him though, that's a tall task without your best player.
