The universal hate for this team is really stupid. No reason for it. Hawks were arrogant ****** but no one cared when they won the cup.



I sometimes think this stems from Oiler and Flames fans who simply could not handle the Canucks winning a cup.



But this borders on plain stupidity! Carcillo is an idiot and the Hawks are not that much of an improved team. Tougher, more NHL experience for certain... but not that much better.

So being tougher and adding more experience doesn't make you that much better of a team?

My second favorite moment in the SCF was when Marchand kept punching D.Sedin in the face and he just stood there and took it. Priceless.



In case you're wondering - my favorite moment was seeing Kesler crying after the Bruins won. Even more priceless.

I'd love to be the nobler hockey fan and say seeing Tim Thomas getting his Cup after STUDding it up was my favorite moment of the game but since the Canucks were involved my uber-hateration overrides ALL ELSE so Kesler's tears were more joyous a moment for me too!

Also this thread is a FAB way to remind everyone to watch or re-watch Noon's GENIUS fucking video about the so-called "character" of the Canucks and Nucks nation. I am still convinced this video simply MUST go viral in the hockeyverse. Did you see Weber/Suter/Rinne crying on twitter or through the press? Did you see Thornton/Marleau/Boyle crying on twitter/through the press? Did you see Henrik/Daniel/Kesler/Luongo/Hamhuis cry on twitter/through the press about losing the Cup?



No, no and no.



Hawks acted like the biggest sore-losers you can be...over Round 1 of the playoffs, and it carried through all the way to the end of the SCF. Talk about being bitter or what.

Blackhawks and their fans/media seem to have some kind of unhealthy facsination with the Canucks. Seems like they take a shot whenever they can, while in Vancouver, the Hawks-hatred is on the back-burner. Don't like Patrick Kane, but the rest of the team is pretty harmless.



Carcillo is really nothing to be afraid of. He looks tough in highlights because he gets involved, but watching a lot of Philly games, there are plenty of Canucks that could tune him in. I doubt they're worried about Carcillo in the least bit. Love to see him and Bieksa fight.



Love these scrubs that like to act like impact players. Thinking he'll intimidate anyone lol. What will actually happen? He'll play 4 minutes, run Lapierre, take a penalty and the Canucks will score on the PP.

And it doesn't go the other way with the Canucks hating the "Craphawks"?
