If they trade Quentin, I may very well be done with them this season. 3 games out and he's been a big-time reason that they're still in it.

While I do like the idea of Viciedo up here, I think trading Quentin is a huge mistake. Get rid of Pierre if you want to get Dayan in Chicago.

The selfish part of me wants the White Sox to trade him to the Braves. I'm in an NL-only fantasy baseball league, and I have Randall Delgado as one of my minor leaguers.

In our league, if you lose a player to the AL via trade, you get back the player he was traded for in return for the same contract. Since Randall Delgado is a minor leaguer, he costs me 0, meaning Quentin would cost me 0, and I could tender him a contract of 3 yrs starting at a buck. ;) (a player of his caliber goes easily for 30-40)

I doubt the Braves are likely to trade Teheran for Quentin. I could see Randal Delgado going in the deal though, as he is the 2nd best pitcher in the Braves' system, and is actually touted about as much as Teheran.

it will have to be a Teheran and another player like Hayward to get Quentin remember the Phillies are going to drive up the price on Quentin as they have the hots for Quentin as well. The Phillies could offer Brown/Mayberry Jr and a top SP as well! Just food for thought...

  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
I really hope they don't move Quentin, but I feel they will as the Phillies and Braves will be in competition and out bid each other.

Big Hurt is a big fan of Dayan Viciedo. Believes he's ready, but thinks White Sox would regret trading Quentin.

Let Viciedo show he can play up here before doing anything rash. Sheesh.

It seems like the Braves and Phils both want him, and since they are both contenders for the NL East they might throw around some very attractive offers.

Pence is now rumored to be the guy the Phils want. If that deal gets done, Quentin stays IMO.

ATL is where CQ would probably go IMHO.

Heres the deal:

Does anyone here actually trust CQ? Is he having a good year? yeah. Is his stock really high? yeah....why i dont know, but anyway.....If you can fleece a GM who is desperate for a bat, I say do it. If Viciedos thumb is ok, im fine with CQ getting dealt.

I agree on all points, some "experts" have said KW is positioning to deal TCQ in the offseason which i don't 100% buy.

A lot of us agreed that IF TCQ hit this season, it would be gravy. It's sad that our offense has turned out the way it has this season.

I'm still not against flipping him, especially if the price is high.
