Amare Stoudamire says that if joins the Knicks, Carmelo and Parker are ready to join him in 2011. Told you guys this last night about Carmelo. He's not Chicago bound. Nobody is.

Who cares? Stoudemire doesn't know anything anyway. If the Bulls strike out with James, Wade, and Bosh, they have to get a Boozer type guy for less than the max, and wait to sign Melo or somebody else (or two) next year.

If we strike out on James/Wade/Bosh, what makes you think Melo is coming here? I don't get it.

What makes you think we shouldn't try. Amnd what makes you think he wouldn't want to come here?

I already told you why he's not coming here. First of all, Chicago is not a glamorous city. Yeah it's a big city with a big market but it's not LA, it's not Miami, and it's not NY. We have deep dish pizza and chicago style hot dogs, great!

Secondly, Melo will be marrying Lala Vazquez this summer. She's a celeb with strong ties to the NY area and Melo strikes me as a guy who would enjoy that NY environment. If he doesn't stay in Denver, he will be going to the Knicks or Nets because of their Brooklyn move.

As far as trying, we will always try but it's apparent that players are not as big on Chicago as we the fans are.

And I'm not sure why everyone is so excited about getting Boozer for. You think that dude is gonna win us a title?

You don't know for sure if he'd pick NY or the Nets over the Bulls. The Bulls have plenty of upside over each of those 2 teams (obviously that they are better and will likely still be better).

I'm not excited about Boozer either, but if a cheaper fall-out plan if we fail to land 2 of the 3 of LeBron/Wade/Bosh. He would certainly make the Bulls better.

Well obviously I don't know for sure, I'm just offering my opinion. The Bulls upside argument loses a lot of credibility if we come away empty handed this offseason don't ya think? I mean we have the most upside currently and still looks like we ain't getting nada...

Boozer does make the Bulls better but not a championship caliber team. If you go into a season knowing that your team CANNOT win it all, what fun is that?

It hasn't been fun for the past 13 years. Boozer for around 11 million makes sense for 4 years-ish. The Bulls would still have enough room for another max contract in 2011 offseason. If they can't get Melo, then they will get somebody else (hopefully).

If Wade goes to Miami and LeBron goes to Cleveland, oh well. The Bulls will survive as a franchise; they just won't win the title next year.

What makes you think nobody is? We only have a great city with a good market, an amazing history, oh and a player by the name Derrick Rose who is barely able to drink alcoholic beverages. Calm down with this negative Bulls BULLshit. Everybody gets a big hard on when stuff leaks in support of the Bulls, even from the most unreliable source, and then when something changes, which it does every single day, everybod goes in negative, shutdown mode.

Oh, and ask me if I'm worried about Tony Parker and Amare Stoudomire. No way Melo goes to NY.

Hey remember the past two years when everyone said LeBron to NY? Why the hell would Melo leave Denver for the Knicks? The Nuggs have better players than the Cavs do and LeBron might not leave for NY.

Good luck to D'Antoni and the defensiveness Knicks. Cant wait to watch STAT put up stats and thats about it.

I don't think he will leave. But if he does, it will be NY or NJ.
